Avenue St Andrew’s URC is a modern church open to all, drawing on a distinguished tradition of nonconformist Christianity in Southampton.
Like one of our earliest legacy members, the clothier and schoolmaster Isaac Watts senior, we’re still dedicated to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and to serving our local community.
Where We Meet
You can find us opposite Southampton Common, at the corner of
The Avenue and Alma Road
Southampton
SO17 1XQ
What to Expect
Our worship is led by a variety of preachers and teachers including our two ministers, Revd Dr Sarah Hall and Revd Mike Perrott.
In colder months we worship in the Concourse (it’s more efficient to heat), and in warmer months, the Sanctuary. In both places our style is ‘relaxed traditional’.
Come as you are!
With a membership of about 50 and activities for church & community across the week, we’d love to have you join us.
When We Meet
Sunday Worship, 10:30am,
with Communion one Sunday a month

A message from our Elders:
Believing worship to be central to our lives, we see our mission as continuing to grow, both as individuals and as a fellowship, to further our Christian service and witness within the community and the world.
